Senior Corporate Paralegal (Promotions and Marketing Law) Vancouver (Waterfront / Coal Harbour / Canada Place), Canada | Posted on 01/29/2026 - State/Province British Columbia - Country Canada Job Description We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Corporate Paralegal to join our Legal team with primary responsibility for promotions law and regulatory compliance for consumer marketing programs. This role is focused on the independent drafting, review, and legal quality control of promotion Terms & Conditions and Official Rules for programs across the U.S., Canada, and select international markets. You will serve as a senior legal resource for high-volume, client-facing promotions work, ensuring that Snipps programs are legally sound, consistently drafted, and aligned with regulatory requirements. You will also contribute to Snipps drafting systems and internal processes that support scalable legal delivery. This is a unique opportunity to contribute across both our client programs and Snipps own strategic growth. What Youll Do Promotions Law & Drafting (Primary) - Independently draft and review Terms & Conditions and Official Rules for sweepstakes, instant win games, and skill contests across multiple jurisdictions (U.S., Canada and EU). - Conduct legal review of marketing and promotional materials across digital, retail, and social channels. - Advise internal stakeholders on promotion mechanics, eligibility, prize structures, disclosures, and risk mitigation. - Serve as a subjectmatter resource for promotions law within the company. - Maintain and refine precedent libraries and clause standards. Compliance & Risk (Primary) - Apply and interpret applicable promotions, advertising, and consumer protection laws in the U.S., Canada, and EU. - Ensure programs comply with lottery, gaming, and regulatedcategory restrictions where applicable. - Support regulatory defensibility through clear drafting and documentation standards. Drafting Systems & Process (Primary) - Help translate legal requirements into structured drafting templates and logic used in Snipps proprietary drafting platform. - Review and validate automated drafts for legal accuracy and jurisdictional compliance. - Improve drafting workflows, qualitycontrol steps, and review protocols. Commercial & Strategic Support (Limited) - Review vendor, SaaS, NDA, and client service agreements. - Providesupport on M&A diligence and integration projects when required. - Assist Snipp and its clients with navigating global privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and PIPEDA, especially as they apply to participant data collection and use. Requirements Required Qualifications - 58+ years of paralegal experience, with significant focus on promotions, advertising, or marketing law. - Exceptional drafting accuracy and attention to detail. - Extensive experience drafting and reviewing promotion Terms & Conditions and Official Rules in the U.S. and Canada (EU experience a plus). - Strong working knowledge of sweepstakes, contests, and consumer promotions regulatory frameworks. - Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. - Ability to manage high volumes of client programs with competing deadlines. Preferred Qualifications - Experience supporting regulated categories (alcohol in particular). - Exposure to legal automation or structured drafting tools. - Familiarity with privacy and data protection regimes. - Experience in a technologyenabled or inhouse legal environment.
