You will participate in the brewing, cellaring, and filtration processes from start to finish as well as perform many other tasks in our Brewing department. You have advanced knowledge of the brewing process, excellent mechanical trouble shooting skills, as well as exceptional teamwork and communication capabilities. Additionally, you are highly motivated & organized.Main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:Brewing including milling, mashing, lautering, and boilingOperating the centrifugePerforming beer transfersDry-hoppingChecking beers during fermentation & basic quality control assessmentsPitching yeastTank cleaning & sanitizingCleaning and day-to-day maintenance of equipmentAssisting on the keg filling line and in the packaging department as requiredWe'd love to hear from you if you have:1-2 years of previous experience in a craft brewery, direct brewing experience preferredAdvanced knowledge of the brewing processExceptional mechanical trouble shooting skillsA Certificate or other advanced education in the brewing process, or a Bachelors Degree in Science or related field considered an assetExceptional communication and teamworkExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills19+ years of ageThe ability to maneuver 50kgsLegally able to work in CanadaA love of delicious craft beer!Please note: An equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.This position is a permanent full-time position working 40 hours per week and requires a flexible work schedule. Depending on the brew schedule, shifts will vary as needed including early morning shifts, day shifts, night shifts, and evenings and weekends.
