Job Title: Senior Project Manager Multi-Family & Commercial Construction Location: Kelowna / Okanagan Region Industry: Construction (Residential, Multi-Family, Commercial) Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent Company: Confidential Client (Represented by Skyline Recruitment) About the Opportunity Skyline Recruitment is sourcing a Senior Project Manager for a growing GC delivering residential, multi-family, and commercial projects across the Okanagan. This role is built for a leader who can take full ownership. From pre-construction through closeout, you will drive planning, control risk, lead project teams, and build strong client relationships. The right person brings structure, accountability, and calm decision-making to complex projects while keeping safety, schedule, and budget firmly under control. The company is expanding its pipeline and looking for someone who wants to step into a leadership seat, not just manage tasks, but shape outcomes and help elevate the performance of the team. Project Details Multi-family residential, mixed-use, and commercial projects. Large-scale, complex builds with multiple stakeholders. Delivery methods include Construction Management, Design-Build, and Stipulated Sum. Opportunity to manage multiple projects simultaneously depending on size and phase. What Youll Be Doing Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and overall execution from pre-construction through closeout. Take ownership of contracts, subcontracts, procurement, change orders, and project documentation. Work closely with Superintendents to align field execution with project strategy. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders. Oversee cost control, forecasting, cash flow, and monthly reporting. Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies before they impact schedule or budget. Manage RFIs, submittals, change management, and document control through Procore or similar systems. Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Coordinators and junior team members. Lead project turnover, deficiency management, handover, and post-project reviews. Support continuous improvement by identifying process and performance gaps across projects. What Were Looking For 12+ years of experience in construction project management. Proven track record managing large & complex projects. Experience overseeing multiple projects at varying stages of the project lifecycle. Background in multi-family residential, commercial, or mixed-use construction. Strong understanding of construction contracts, cost control, scheduling, and project financials. Proficiency with Procore, Microsoft Project and Excel. Strong leadership presence with the ability to make clear, timely decisions under pressure. Client-facing confidence with the ability to build long-term relationships.
