Endpoint Automation and Remediation Engineer (Tire3 | Intune | PowerShell) Contract duration: until October 31st 2026 (strong likelihood of extension) Location: Toronto / remote (must be within Canada and able to work EST time hours) Rate: depends on expertise level (targeting 50-55) Must be incorporated or have a solo-proprietorship Looking for an automation-focused engineer to design and operate enterprise-scale endpoint solutions across a large Windows device fleet (500K+ automated device actions monthly). This role centers on converting root cause findings into secure, scalable, and production-ready remediations. Tech Stack: PowerShell (advanced scripting, modular frameworks) Microsoft Intune Windows Operating Systems Microsoft Graph API PowerShell Universal Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) CI/CD pipelines (automation as code) SCCM (transition environment) Required Qualifications Advanced PowerShell expertise (modular scripting, production-grade design, logging, error handling). Hands-on Microsoft Intune experience (remediation-focused implementations). Strong troubleshooting skills with clear production ownership (break/fix mindset). Experience working in Agile, fast-paced, cross-functional environments. PowerShell Universal (dashboards, jobs, APIs). Power Platform (Power Apps / Power Automate). CI/CD mindset for automation (configuration-as-code, version control, auditability). Microsoft Graph / API-driven automation experience (POCs a plus). Experience promoting solutions across DEV / QA / PROD environments. SCCM experience, especially during transition to modern endpoint management Responsibilities Build and operate large-scale Windows endpoint automations. Develop and enhance detection and remediation capabilities. Validate solutions in lower environments before production deployment. Partner with support and engineering teams to transform recurring issues into safe, auditable automation workflows. Reduce manual effort and incident volume through scalable automation. Ensure strong logging, observability, and controlled rollout practices. Produce clear documentation and structured handovers. Success in This Role Highly reliable, well-validated automations with minimal unintended impact. Reduction in recurring incidents through proactive automation. Safe, observable remediation deployments backed by strong logging and metrics. Clear documentation ensuring long-term maintainability and support.
