Due to ongoing project demand, they are seeking an experienced Foreman (Chargehand A) to lead crews across the Lower Mainland and surrounding areas. Your new role As an Electrical Foreman (Chargehand A) in the Power & Utilities division, you will provide onsite leadership for electrical crews working on utility and highvoltage infrastructure projects. This role does not involve building electrical workyour focus will be on outdoor utility installations, power distribution, and highvoltage systems. Key responsibilities include: Supervising and coordinating crews of electricians (typically 510 per crew). Planning and organizing daily work activities to align with project schedules and safety requirements. Coordinating with utility partners on permitting, technical details, and daily operational needs. Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, work procedures, and industry standards. Reading and interpreting plans, drawings, and technical specifications related to highvoltage and utility projects. Providing onsite problem solving, task delegation, and resource planning. Mentoring apprentices and journeypersons through onthejob guidance and leadership. Completing documentation including reports, safety checklists, and productivity tracking. This is a fieldbased position with work primarily across the Lower Mainland, occasionally extending to nearby regions. What youll need to succeed Red Seal Electrician certification (required). Previous experience as a Chargehand, Foreman, or Lead Hand in a union or structured environment. Background in utility, highvoltage, powerline, or substation work is strongly preferred. Proven ability to lead and motivate field crews in a safetyfocused setting. Strong understanding of electrical safety regulations and utility work methods. Excellent communication, coordination, and problemsolving skills. Commitment to safe, highquality, and efficient project execution.
