Job Description Our Logistics team has an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual who will be responsible for the day-to-day logistics activities and control of all warehouse operations for the Engineered Systems & Chemical and Monitoring Solutions group. The incumbent will supervise the logistics and supply chain activities for planning, procurement, receiving and shipping under all warehouses. The successful candidate will work directly with the Material Handler, Logistics Specialist, Canada Warehouse Manager, CFS, ITO & OTR teams, S&OP, Manufacturing, along with the extended global supply chain team. This is a fast-paced job with many variables including managing conversations at various levels of the organization. Key Responsibilities: Manage a team of logistics professionals, warehouse personnel and daily operational activities of all warehouses in compliance with EHS on both storage and transportation requirements. Lead the team to identify, analyze, manage potential and actual issues, evaluate risk, and implement both preventive and corrective actions by partnering with multiple functions. Create or revise 3PL warehouse SOPs, conducts trainings and identify supply chain optimization opportunities. Create inbound and outbound paperwork to support various operations. Provide direction, training, and developmental opportunities for warehouse staff. Responsible for OTD/OTC delivery performance KPIs to ensure communication accuracy for order fulfilment. Maintain logistics, export/import compliance and reporting databases and support the accuracy of the databases on ongoing basis. Oversee 3PL execution of goods receipt, storage, and outbound order processing. Ensure understanding, training, and adherence to vendor compliance requirements; facilitate research and case resolution. Implement robust operations processes and cycle count procedures. Reconcile inventory discrepancies and follow- up with an investigation to determine root cause. Run reports, interface with production, sales, purchasing and suppliers to ensure timely customs release and schedule inbound and outbound deliveries. Oversee import shipments by working with sourcing, suppliers, broker, and customs compliance team to streamline classification and clearance process and support compliance initiatives. Responsible for indirect purchasing activities, invoice discrepancies and payment inquiries Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies. Set work priorities for the team and ensure a safe, inclusive work environment for everyone. Hire, retain, develop, conduct performance reviews, and evaluate staff to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Qualifications Bachelors degree from an accredited university or college in supply chain/business, with minimum 5-6 years of experience in warehousing and logistics function and minimum 3-5 years of experience in managing employees. Minimum 5-7 years of SAP experience in the sales & distribution, planning and shipment module. Must have working knowledge of import/export regulations (e.g., Tariff Classification; Certificate of Origin, Commercial Invoice, etc.) and carrier management. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidates knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $50,000-$73,000 CAD annually.
