Started in 2006, we have successfully established 3 market leading brands (Caledon Farms, Crumps Naturals and Dog Delights) distributed throughout Canada and the United States. We officially started production in our North Carolina facility in August 2023, we continue to ramp up production in this facility and we are planning an $85M expansion. Job Overview: We are currently looking for an Oven Operator for the night shift. You will spend your day managing the end-to-end process of Oven Operator in the Production Department. This is a physical position working in a hot and cold environment. Responsibilities: Load uncooked product racks into ovens and unload cooked product rack Test products for water activity, complete all necessary documentation Move finished product to the finishing area Keep work area, tools and supplies clean, organized and sanitary throughout the work shift Follow all GMPs and Safety Procedures Performs other duties as requested Ability to work a flexible schedule and overtime as requested Education and Experience High School Diploma Excellent organizational skills and detail oriented. Ability to prioritize time and focus on key and critical business activities. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong mathematical skills. All product will be handled with care in the appropriate manner in order to minimize loss in the quality or appearance of the finished product. Ability to work independently with a minimum supervision Ability to stoop, reach, stand, walk, push, pull and perform repetitive motions Ability to frequently move objects up to 50 pounds Ability to work in a hot and cold environment The Crump Group is committed to equity, inclusion in employment and diversity.
