About the Company We are working with a family-owned residential property management company that has doubled in size over the past year and continues to grow in a thoughtful, values-driven way. The organization takes pride in operating high-quality buildings, maintaining strong communities, and attracting the right residentsnot just filling units. As part of this expansion, they are creating new Leasing Agent roles to support their downtown Edmonton portfolio. The Company own and manage all of their buildings, so no RECA license require. The Opportunity The Leasing Agent plays a key role in the success of the residential portfolio by delivering an exceptional leasing and customer experience, supporting high occupancy, and upholding strong resident standards. This role is ideal for a high-energy, driven individual who enjoys sales, people interaction, and working in a fast-paced environment. Training and support are available, making this a great opportunity for candidates looking to enter or grow within the residential real estate industry. What Youll Be Responsible For Leasing & Marketing Tour prospective tenants through available suites and respond to inquiries by phone, email, and in person Follow up promptly on all leads to ensure a strong first impression Assist applicants through the qualification and application process Process lease applications, including credit and reference checks Prepare lease documentation and tenant files Coordinate move-ins and ensure suites are fully prepared for occupancy Maintain accurate availability, pricing, and leasing data Support lease-up activity when required Customer Service & Resident Experience Deliver a professional, welcoming experience to all prospects and residents Conduct move-in orientations and clearly communicate lease terms and building policies Respond to resident questions and concerns in a timely, solution-focused manner Uphold Residential Tenancy Act requirements and company standards Participate in resident engagement initiatives as needed Administration & Team Collaboration Maintain accurate leasing and resident records (Yardi experience is an asset, not a deal-breaker) Ensure all documentation is completed accurately and on time Work closely with property management, leasing leadership, and maintenance teams Contribute to team meetings and leasing performance discussions Schedule & Location Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m. Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate prospect availability Full-time, on-site role. Flexibility for hybrid after probation period Downtown office and downtown residential portfolios Standard market rental units Compensation & Benefits Base salary: $55,000 $75,000, depending on experience Annual performance-based bonuses tied to individual and portfolio targets Occasional lease-up bonuses No commission-based structure stable salary with performance incentives 3 weeks paid vacation Matching RRSP Program Full benefits package Health Spending Account (HSA) Wellness days and volunteer days What Theyre Looking For High-energy, motivated, and reliable professionals Strong communication and follow-up skills Sales-oriented mindset with the ability to close Organized, detail-oriented, and accountable Comfortable working in a fast-paced, growing environment Yardi experience preferred but not required Open to training and continuous learning How to Apply Please submit your resume for consideration.
