Full Time, Permanent Delta, BC THE OPPORTUNITY: We are seeking a results-driven engineering Project Manager to lead complex engineering projects from concept to completion. In this role, you will oversee multi-disciplinary teams, coordinate resources, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY: Project Planning: Leading the full project lifecycle for Industrial Projects from design through production, commissioning, and delivery. Developing detailed project plans covering scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resources, and budget requirements. Collaborating with stakeholders to define project goals and establish success criteria. Team Leadership: Leading and inspiring cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives. Assigning responsibilities, setting priorities, and ensuring team members have the tools and resources needed for success. Fostering a collaborative and positive team culture. Other Duties: Coordinating and allocating resources efficiently to support project outcomes. Monitoring and managing project budgets, change orders, contract compliance, and client approvals. Acting as the primary liaison between project teams and stakeholders. Providing consistent updates on project progress, milestones, and potential challenges. Ensuring all project deliverables are meeting quality standards and aligning with requirements. Identifying potential risks and implementing mitigation strategies proactively. Addressing issues promptly to prevent delays or deviations from project plans. Reporting and Documentation: Preparing and delivering regular project status reports to stakeholders. Maintaining complete project documentation, including plans, schedules, and meeting records. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelors degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or a related engineering field. 4-5+ years of proven project management experience with a successful delivery record. PMP certification is required (however, candidates who are actively preparing to write the exam and can obtain certification within six months of hire will also be considered). Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and tools for engineering projects. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary engineering teams. Planning, execution, and resource management, including budgeting. Risk identification, mitigation, and proactive problem-solving. Strong decision-making, time management, and organizational skills. Effective stakeholder communication and professional English proficiency in spoken, written, and presentation settings.
