Managing Lawyer | Miramichi, NB Our client, a reputable and thriving boutique firm with multiple locations in the province of New Brunswick, is seeking a Managing Lawyer to lead their Miramichi office. This dual-impact role requires a seasoned litigator who can balance a significant caseload with the strategic leadership and mentorship of a dedicated legal team. Core Responsibilities Litigation & Advocacy: Act as the lead attorney for all litigation matters in the Miramichi office, providing strategic representation in and out of court. Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and train a multidisciplinary team, including lawyers, paralegals, and support staff. Case Management: Oversee a diverse caseload, ensuring ethical, timely, and high-quality resolution of all legal matters. Strategic Growth: Drive business development and community engagement to expand the firms local footprint. Operational Oversight: Serve as a primary resource for the unit, balancing administrative management with active legal practice. Requirements Credentials: Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent from an accredited institution and an active license to practice in New Brunswick. Experience: Minimum of 5 years in litigation with a proven track record. Specialization: Strong background in Family Law is highly preferred. Leadership: Demonstrated ''solution-based'' leadership style with the ability to manage competing priorities and mentor junior staff.
