Job Description

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will enable the alignment of business objectives with the support provided to employees and management. The position builds partnerships across the organization to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business acumen with the financial outlook, growth plans, culture and competitive position of the company. This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities but does serve as a coach and mentor for other positions in the company.Responsibilities and DutiesManages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigationsMaintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory complianceProvides day-to-day performance management guidance to management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retentionProvides HR policy guidance and interpretationProvides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planningIdentifies training needs for business units and individual leadership coaching needsPro-actively performs recruitment activities as requiredThe above statements describe the general nature and level of work being performed.
