The team youd be joining provides transporters with knowledge, contextual help, and experience that enables gains in productivity (Service Time), quality (First Time Delivery Success), engagement (Attrition), and compliance to the local regulations. The Amazon Flex mobile team focuses on providing smart and efficient mobile solutions that scale to delivering millions of packages every month. It is still Day1 in the Last Mile Technology space! Amazon Flex is the system that works with crowdsourced and thirdparty delivery partners to complete all of Amazons deliveries. Our Amazon Flex application works in concert with our advanced logistics systems and technology. These technologies allow delivery partners to onboard, schedule delivery times in advance or on demand, and be guided through their deliveries with inapp mapping, navigation, and much more. Our ability to engage with, serve and provide a worldclass experience to both customers and our delivery partners has become more critical as we continue to expand the number of delivery partners and target faster deliveries to our customers. Key job responsibilities Being part of a customerobsessed company and working as part of this team, youll be responsible for the design, development, test, and deployment of a range of products that make it possible to deliver packages to customers in two hours or less all over the world. You will have an opportunity to conceptualize, design, build, test and own software systems. You will influence the technical direction of the team, work with many different technologies. If you are a software engineer with a creative flare, problemsolving skills, exposure to various technologies such as Android SDK and Kotlin and have the desire to help drive Amazons next generation of delivery, we want to talk with you. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of noninternship professional software development experience 2+ years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience Experience programming with at least one software programming language 2+ years of Android development experience Preferred Qualifications 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. As a total compensation company, Amazons package may include other elements such as signon payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
