Job Title: Asset Protection Supervisor The Asset Protection Supervisor, Stores - Canada is responsible for ensuring the effective management and execution of Asset Protection policies, programs and initiatives in a very few high shrink (3-5) Canadian stores. The Asset Protection Supervisor, Stores is responsible for ensuring operational execution to prevent and improve shrink through effective training and assessment of company policies and procedures. The Asset Protection Supervisor, Stores is responsible for initiating and managing internal and external investigations as well as managing store level physical security and associate safety programs. The Asset Protection Supervisor, Stores is responsible for creating and maintaining effective relationships with store and Law Enforcement partners. Your Impact Manage day-to-day store asset protection operations for a small portion of the regions stores, providing leadership and direction. Provide effective Asset Protection training and awareness to store team. Actively participate and partner with store leadership team in inventory shortage reduction program. Perform store assessments, checklists and inspections and make recommendations to correct or improve on areas of opportunity. Ensure all policies and procedures are followed. Initiate appropriate strategies to meet or exceed shrink goals. Conduct interviews in support in internal investigations, when appropriate. Implement prosecution and/or restitution procedures, requesting assistance when necessary. Coordinate and assist in planning/placement of all technology and eCCTV resources, ensure equipment is effectively utilized. Execute oversight program with direct reports, reviewing activity, productivity and investigations. Ensure timely submission of all required reporting. Review informational sources to uncover losses through procedural audits. Demonstrate commitment to company values and goals through a management style that promotes partnership and honest, open door communication. Coordinate special audits and tests to ensure shrink prevention awareness is maximized to meet company goals. Ensure a safe environment for associates and customers. Work with RAPM (Regional Asset Protection Manager) and store management on addressing asset protection issues. Partner with AP team and local and state law enforcement to resolve external theft issues (ORC, fraud, counterfeiting, etc.) Partner with District and Store Managers during visits to integrate the business and loss prevention strategies, raising shrink to a daily business discussion. Your Experience Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience Three to five years of retail loss prevention/asset protection experience; supervisory experience preferred Administrative and technical knowledge in retail loss prevention/asset protection Ability to integrate loss prevention/asset protection, inventory shrinkage improvement goals with corporate and stores organization Technical expertise in internal and external shrinkage controls and security systems technology Must possess a valid Security Guard/Worker Licence issued by the applicable provincial regulatory authority in Canada (or be eligible to obtain one prior to start date).
