We are a logistics service provider specializing in warehousing and transportation solutions for major eCommerce companies. We are currently seeking anexperienced Warehouse Managerto lead the operations of our new 250,000 sq.ft. distribution center. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse activities, including workforce planning, inventory control, process optimization, safety compliance, and coordination of daily inbound and outbound operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, proven experience managing large-scale warehouse environments, advanced understanding of warehouse management systems. Responsibilities Experience and knowledgeable in setting up and manage a distribution central warehouse, including but not limit to racking, equipment, shipping and receiving, operations Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with companys policies and vision Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations Perform general maintenance of machinery used in the warehouse Manage the warehouse tools and equipment with scheduled inspection Knowledgeable of materials for shipping and receiving need Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security Manage stock control and reconcile with data storage system Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies Plan work rotations assign tasks appropriately and evaluate employees Recruit, select, orient, coach and motivate employees Manage customer service requests promptly and resolve issues quickly Produce reports and statistics regularly (IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc) Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided Qualifications Fast learner with very strong technical and logical thought Proven work experience as a warehouse manager 5+ years experience in a warehouse managers role Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices Experience with retail / ecommerce warehouse operation Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Hands on experience with warehouse management ERP software and databases Leadership skills and ability manage staffs Strong decision making and problem solving skills Excellent communication skills BS degree in logistics, supply chain management or business administration English and Mandarin will be an asset Benefits: Dental care Extended health care Life insurance On-site parking Vision care Pay: Base CA$70,000.00 - CA$90,000.00 per year
