The Opportunity Moment Energy is seeking an Material Handler to be a critical part of our Supply Chain team, managing the flow of materials essential for building our energy storage units. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, quality, and organization of all incoming and outgoing components that will ultimately be deployed in renewable energy projects across North America. Prepare outbound shipments for pick up, loading, and complete outbound documentation. Perform inspections by reviewing the specifications requirements with drawings and report damages and discrepancies. Oversee the end-to-end inbound/outbound scheduling system, coordinating with logistics and freight partners to maintain a high-precision delivery timetable and accurate logs. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records by performing physical spot counts and ensuring data is up-to-date within the ERP system in collaboration with Supply Chain. Take full accountability for inventory integrity, ensuring all stock is systematically organized, labeled, and audit-ready at all times. Assist in organizing and tracking inventory, managing the physical flow of materials. Perform inspection of incoming product by reviewing the quantity and quality of material received, finding part drawings in the computer system to verify specifications, and ensuring bills of lading are correct. Material handling, picking material from shelves based on pick tickets & preparing materials for production. Health & Safety Perform daily safety inspections of material handling equipment. Follow 5S manufacturing standards to keep the area clean and safe from hazards. Oversee and manage the disposal of leftover packaging materials Be an active member in our health & safety team, following and enforcing health and safety guidelines. Work closely with the Production team to perform other duties as required within the nature and level of work. The Candidate We''re looking for individuals with the following traits, skills, and experiences: Qualifications: Previous experience in a shipping, receiving, material handling or warehouse/inventory control role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. Experience operating material handling equipment, such as fork-lift, a pallet jack, scissor lift, pallet stacker, and hand tools. Strong attention to detail and proven ability to maintain inventory accuracy and perform quality checks against documentation. Ability to use a computer system to log inventory and find technical specifications (e.g., part drawings). Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance and stand for long periods of time. Understanding of and commitment to workplace safety and following lean manufacturing standards like Six Sigma or similar. Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities. Bonus Points: Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodology is a bonus. Knowledge of handling Dangerous Goods is a bonus. Why join us?
