We aim to help people understand Gods plan for their lives and experience the transformative impact of His Word and His Son.General DescriptionThe communications department (CD) is responsible for facilitating, developing, and maintaining all forms of communication with the constituency of Insight for Living Canada (IFLC). The communications specialist supports the communications and marketing director and collaborates with other departments to help serve our constituents in ways that are consistent with IFLCs mission and values, encouraging ongoing ministry engagement and advancing the mission of the ministry. This is a permanent, full-time, hybrid position based at our head office in Abbotsford, BC.QualificationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to edit and proofread content for accuracy and clarityProficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite and comfort learning and working with other software applicationsExcellent organizational, time-management, and co-ordination skillsCreative, adaptable, and detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindsetExperience developing and implementing multi-channel communication strategiesAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneouslyAbility to work both independently and collaboratively in a teamDiploma or degree in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field (an asset, not required)Starting Salary Range$50,000$55,000 CAD per year, with an annual Health Spending Account of $2,000+Core Job FunctionsContent Management and StrategySupport the development and execution of content for ministry materials, projects, and constituent communications in alignment with IFLCs brand and a pastoral orientation and toneAssisting with the planning, writing, approving, and production of print and digital publications, appeal letters, and other collateralEditing, proofing, and approving all other written ministry materials and resources to ensure clarity, consistency, brand alignment and across platformsWorking with our marketing co-ordinator to develop promotions as neededCreating marketing-related content as neededTracking on-going, seasonal, and new initiativesInterdepartmental CollaborationWorking alongside the ministry relations department to support excellent constituent care and clear, timely communicationAssisting with cross-departmental initiatives related to constituent growth and developmentSupporting the preparation of special mailings, including collaborating with the project and design manager and operations and ministry relations director on segmentation, printing, and fulfilment processes.Assisting with the collection and organization of metrics in collaboration with other department to support tracking and ministry impactAccountabilityAccountable to the communications and marketing directorIt is crucial to understand and support the mission and core values of IFLC:MissionExcellence in the Communication of Biblical Truth and its ApplicationInsight for Living Core ValuesCharacter in ourselvesHonour for othersAccountability for our motives and actionsGrace in our relationshipsExcellence in our pursuitsGlory to our GodJoy in our atmosphereTo apply, please visit insightforliving.ca/employment.We thank all applicants, however, only those selected for interviews will be contacted. #J-18808-Ljbffr
