Position #: Expected Start Date: April 06, 2026 Union: HSAS Facility: Herold Road Family Physicians City/Town: Saskatoon Department: Primary Care Sites Type: Part-time temporary Expected Up to Date: March 31, 2027 FTE: 0.5 Shift Information: Days Hours of Work: 14 shifts of 8 hours per 6 weeks Relief: No Float: No Field Hours: No Salary or Pay Band: Pay Band Social Worker - MSW $40.983 to $50.114 Travel Required: Yes Human Resources Exemption: No Experience 1 year experience in Social Work 1 year experience in a mental health setting. Education Master of Social Work (MSW) Knowledge and Abilities Advanced clinical skills/knowledge/abilities for competent social work practice Knowledge in principles/practices/concepts of primary health care Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work with a variety of individuals presenting with complex issues Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others as required Committment to self evaluation, professional development and ongoing self care Knowledge in various mental disorders, etiology, treatment and intervention High degree of comfort in dealing with suicidal ideation High degree of comfort in dealing withviolence, abuse, histories of trauma Other Information Registered/eligible with the Saskatchewan Association of Social Workers (SASW) The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is the largest employer in Saskatchewan, employing more than 45,000 staff in a dynamic healthcare environment.
