The impact you''ll make: Tasks and responsibilities performed daily contribute to providing retail stores and eCommerce customers with product required and requested. All functions performed ultimately lead to the fulfillment of units to our Community Members, allowing them to meet their wellness needs, while also contributing to the overall success of Saje as a business. All Saje Team Members are responsible for contributing to Saje''s culture and maintaining a positive environment for themselves and their peers. To support all areas throughout the SDC - Shipping, Receiving, Production, Quality Control, Retail, E-Comm, Inventory - you must possess the following key skills and abilities: At a minimum, 2-years of experience working safely within a Distribution Centre/Warehouse environment. Strong comprehension of the ''English'' language (speak, read, and write) and be legally eligible to work in Canada. Capable of following both written and verbal instructions including documented procedures. Perform basic math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division). Take accountability to communicate when tasks are completed or bring forward any issues or concerns. Sharp attention to detail and high level of accuracy to conduct assigned tasks such as inspections, audits, spot checks, pick/pack; cycle counting, etc. Proficiency in computerized systems, and other programs such as Excel. Technological experience with RFID and mobile scanners. Be able to stand and walk whilst working for extended periods of time in CSA steel-toed footwear. Perform repetitive tasks, more specifically with the use of your hands for extended periods of time. Be able to lift, carry and maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to a maximum of 50 lbs.) Ability to work independently with some direction. Job Tasks & Responsibilities: Picking, packing and shipping orders for eCommerce, retail stores, and co-manufacturers in accordance with training and Standard Operating Procedures. Receiving, unloading and putting away inbound inventory items from vendors, stores and customers in accordance with training and Standard Operating Procedures. Perform tasks within a production line environment, assembling products and parts by hand in accordance with training and Standard Operating Procedures. Performing cycle counting functions with care and accuracy, in accordance with training and Standard Operating Procedures. Complete other tasks such as: box making, pallet building and moving pallets around the DC. Assisting with warehouse organization, labeling pallets, shelves, boxes as directed. Assisting with overall warehouse cleanliness, sweeping, and removal of boxes. Adhere to all safety guidelines policy expectations as trained and instructed by management. Contributes to resolving and mitigation of issues within the team members'' control and ability to report escalated issues to their supervisor or manager. Meet required individual and team KPI expectations on an ongoing basis. Performs quality control inspections for incoming filled products, finished goods, packaging and hard goods including control checks prior, during and postproduction by assessing packaging, artwork, and product components against specifications. Performs quality control checks to verify functionality, weight, overall appearance, and other physical/chemical parameters as needed based on specifications provided. Assists the QA team in coordinating product pullbacks by verifying the correctness of the received quantities compared to the identified quantities as well as organizing product returns from the retail stores and distribution centers as needed. Performs regularly scheduled expiry audits and spot checks, reporting findings to the Quality team for disposition. Meet required individual and team KPI expectations on an ongoing basis. Current business days are Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM 4:00 PM however, the shift start will be determined pending business demands and holiday season, additional shifts may be scheduled (i.e.: to include Saturday, Sunday and/or extended weekday hours).
