Responsibilities Collect data to identify areas for improvement within an organizations IT infrastructure Develop and implement a strategic blueprint to follow when deploying databases within their organization Develop and maintain computer databases Document customers requirements for projects Document reporting needs, queries, logic, results and recommendations to other information systems professionals Enact measures to make sure unauthorized users cannot access the data Provide advice to other informatics professionals regarding database management tools Setup the IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases Test data models and database management systems Operate database management systems to analyze dataResearch and document data requirements, data collection and administration policy, and data access rules Develop policies and procedures for network access and usage and for the backup and recovery of data Lead and co-ordinate teams of data administrators in the development and implementation of data policies, standards and models Write scripts related to stored procedures and triggers #J-18808-Ljbffr
