As the Administrative Coordinator Member Services, you will play an essential role in supporting the Ts''ixwts''ixwntway Member Services Department and the Electoral Commission. Your work will strengthen communication, uphold snewyelh (teachings), and help ensure responsive, respectful services for Nation members. You will be part of a team dedicated to community wellbeing, fairness, and longterm stewardship of Nation knowledge, processes, and governance. What You''ll Do Manage, monitor, and track departmental budgets, expense reporting, and financial projections. Provide daytoday administrative support including correspondence, documentation, and records management. Prepare meeting materials, draft communications, organize schedules, and maintain tracking systems. Organize and schedule Electoral Commission training sessions. Attend meetings, prepare minutes, handle logistics, and manage Commission communications. Support referendum and election administration, including planning, coordination, and execution. Serve as a liaison supporting transparent communication with Nation projects, departments, partners, and community members. Support consistent and accurate delivery of membership processes including applications, status card coordination, and related documentation. Work collaboratively with departments such as Funeral Support Services, Justice Services, Income Assistance, and Elder Services when required. Promote respectful, culturally informed communication aligned with Squamish Nation values. Support team initiatives across Ts''ixwts''ixwntway Member Services divisions. Assist with departmental planning, reporting, and project execution. Uphold Nation policies, workplace safety, confidentiality, and professional standards. What We''re Looking For Diploma in Office Assistant, Office Management, Business Administration, or related field. Commitment to ongoing training in areas such as health and safety, document control, cultural sensitivity, software, and office tools. 23 years administrative and coordination experience in areas such as scheduling, records management, communications, and budgeting. Experience working in a First Nations organization or similar environment (preferred). Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with large-scale databases (JD Edwards considered an asset). Strong communication, organization, and timemanagement skills. Strong communication skills, including ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Ability to manage competing deadlines in a fastpaced environment. Knowledge of Squamish Nation governance and cultural protocols (asset). High emotional intelligence, patience, and strong relationshipbuilding skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Fluent in spoken and written English. Valid BC Driver''s License (Class 5 preferred; Class 7N considered).
