Position: Journeyman HVAC Installer This position requires a valid Red Seal Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Mechanic Certification or a valid Class B Gas Fitter. We are looking for a skilled and motivated Journeyman HVAC Installer to join our growing HVAC Install Team. You must be fully ticketed, confident with heat pumps, furnaces, air conditioners, ductwork, and refrigeration piping, and committed to highquality installations that meet all codes and Air Tech standards. What Youll Do Install residential heat pumps, furnaces, AC systems, HRVs/ERVs, and ductwork Complete refrigeration piping, brazing, nitrogen purging, pressure testing, evacuation, and commissioning Perform gas piping, venting, startup, and commissioning in accordance with BC Gas Code Maintain clean, safe, and codecompliant worksites Work collaboratively with apprentices and support their development Follow Air Tech installation procedures, checklists, and quality standards Communicate clearly with customers, office staff, and team members Represent Air Tech with professionalism and integrity on every job What You Bring Red Seal Refrigeration Mechanic Class B Gas Fitter Licence Strong knowledge of HVAC system design, installation practices, refrigerants, and gas systems Confidence reading installation manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints Ability to lead a jobsite and coordinate with apprentices High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Valid BC drivers licence with a clean abstract Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work indoors/outdoors yearround What We Offer Competitive wages based on experience Fulltime, yearround employment with a stable and rapidly growing company Extended health & dental benefits RRSP matching Paid training, trade certifications, manufacturer courses (Daikin, Amana, Lennox, Napoleon, Valor, etc.) Branded uniforms, PPE, tools allowance, and a wellstocked company vehicle Supportive leadership team that values honesty, communication, and professional growth A positive culture where great attitudes and quality workmanship are recognized and appreciated Our Culture Air Tech operates on trust, transparency, accountability, teamwork, and quality.
