As a Laboratory Assistant , you are responsible for the preparation of samples and/or reagents for routine processing, the performance of simple non-interpretivetests under the technical oversight of a Medical Laboratory Technologist asrequired, and the independent performance of simple non-interpretive tests escalating to a qualified Medical Laboratory Technologist for support and guidance as required. You will also ensure quality control checks and standards are run as required and participate in all quality assurance programs andensure company and Ministry of Health (MOH) guidelines are observed. Lastly, you will perform routine maintenance of laboratoryequipmentas appropriateanddeal withproblems that arise.
