Role and Facility Information We are recruiting a general Neurologist to expand outpatient urgent neurology clinic access at Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre (JPOCSC) and to provide additional oncall support to Surrey Memorial Hospital (SMH). Responsibilities Join an existing group of 15 neurologists who run a consulting service at Surrey Memorial Hospital and attend subspecialty and general neurology clinics at the nearby Jim Pattison Outpatient Care and Surgery Centre. Take part in local and regional call activities as needed, including calls at SMH and potentially at nearby hospitals such as Peace Arch Hospital, Langley Memorial Hospital, and Delta Hospital. Work on two funded urgent neurology clinic days at JPOCSC, with potential future urgent and general neurology clinic opportunities at nearby hospitals. Develop a communitybased practice in Surrey, Delta, or Langley for remaining clinic days, potentially joining an established wellrun group neurology practice. Provide additional oncall support to Surrey Memorial Hospital. Qualifications Candidate must be eligible for FRCPC registration in neurology and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC. General neurologist preferred; subspecialty training or EMG/EEG designations may open opportunities in subspecialty clinics or the neurophysiology lab.
