Join to apply for the Project Manager role at Magna IV Engineering, A Sunbelt Solomon Company Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Project Manager will be accountable for leading projects, building and maintaining project relationships, and leading Field Service and Engineering staff through projects. This position will work closely with the Operations Manager to support specific projects and people; ultimately creating exceptional client experiences through the completion of Engineering and Field Services projects. Client Relations Present new services to existing customers and enhance existing relationships Follow up on leads and turn them into profitable opportunities Maintain the CRM activities, opportunities and forecasting Prepare and review proposals for projects with the intent to obtain new and repeat client business Build and maintain relationships with clients to develop new work and drive repeat business Coordination of Project Management Oversee all aspects of the projects (from Quoting/Kickoff to Invoicing/Closeout) Plan resources effectively and work collaboratively with other regions to share resources Ensure proper, complete preparation and execution of scheduled work Participation, in technical execution of assigned projects as required. Preparation of status and progress reports. Identify, prepare, submit, and track change proposals and change orders. Ensure safe work process is executed with each job and a culture of safety is fostered. Ensure completion of reports and follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and completeness of work. Maintain organized digital ecosystem for each project and ensure that all test records and jobrelated documentation is filed per company standards. Ensure accurate and timely project invoicing. Understand financial health of the project using company provided tools. Ultimate responsibility for delivering Superior Client Experiences on all projects Processes & Systems Drive and participate in the improvement of project processes Build relationships and work collaboratively with Operational and Central Services teams (as a partnership) to assist in implementing and executing all Magna practices and processes Provide coaching and development to team members to be a source of talent for Magna IV. Success Measurements Demonstrate Safety as a priority through safe project execution Revenue Gross Profit Margin Proposal Generation Requirements Electrical Engineering Technology diploma, Electrical Engineering degree or PSE certification NETA (International Electrical Testing Association) certification or registration with APEGS (Association of Professional Engineering and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan) preferred 5+ years experience working in Electrical Engineering or Technical Field Services Ability to travel up to 20% Experience in coordinating and managing multipersonnel projects preferred Experience in protection and control systems of industrial power systems Working knowledge of electrical system software including (but not limited to) ETAP, EasyPower, AutoCAD, Enervista, AcSELerator Proficient knowledge of the principles behind the test equipment used and wellrounded understanding of power systems Experience in design, installation, and commissioning/startup of industrial power systems Experience in the Installation, commissioning and startup of power equipment preferred Experience working with automation & control systems in the power and utilities market is an asset Possesses handson field experience in commissioning, testing or maintaining power delivery equipment; including breakers, switchgear, relays, and transformers preferred Ability to travel nationally and internationallyapprox. 1025% site work Must have a valid drivers license Careerminded individual with proven initiative, client focus and attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications Excellent time management skills (able to work with minimal supervision) Able to work flexible hours that might include weekends, evenings and holidays Work as a team player with excellent oral and written communication skills Where Potential Powers Progress At Sunbelt Solomon, we believe progress starts with people their ideas, their expertise, and their drive to make energy work better.
