When you partner with us, youre at the center of a vast network of risk, insurance, employee benefits, retirement and wealth management specialists that bring clarity to a changing world with tailored solutions and unrelenting advocacy so youre ready for tomorrow.The OpportunityThe primary function of the Commercial Account Executive is to develop new business relations through prospecting and referral business and provide superior client service to existing Commercial Insurance clients.If the portfolio/branch employs a Commercial Multiline Account Executive, develop and coach to generate new relationships and increase sales.Promptly responds to all client inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner by telephone, email or face-to-face.Develops, manages and nurtures new business relations and partnerships to accomplish personal and professional goals.Promotes awareness of new products and services to prospective and existing clients.Provides input for the sales team to support strategic and tactical planning processes.Analyzes, assesses and documents client results to ensure client needs are met.Assists the Chief Sales Officer and Vice President Sales in analyzing the effectiveness of sales programs; recommends changes based on findings.Attend sales meetings.Assists the Chief Sales Officer and Vice President Sales in implementing strategic plans for the sales function; administers best practices and procedures to enhance operations.Shares successes, fosters teamwork and contributes positively to our sales culture.Maintains current knowledge of insurance products, procedures and restrictions.Manages the collection of accounts receivable for assigned accounts.Uses CRM, BMS and scorecard as required.Accounts receivables: discuss payment options with clients and ensure payment arrangements are agreed upon; generally within 45 days.Other duties as may be assigned by the Chief Sales Officer or Vice President Sales.Existing Client RelationshipsBuild client relationships, obtain and update renewal information; obtain renewal terms and review those terms with the client.If the portfolio/branch employs a Commercial Account Advisor, delegate accounts to support the development of the individual, client and excellent customer service delivery.Correlate with the client expiration list to ensure all accounts are renewed or lapsed.Obtain all necessary renewal information in a timely manner and work with Commercial Account Associate and Marketing to negotiate favorable terms for clients.Mine the book of business for commercial sales opportunities including coverage extensions, lower deductibles, higher limits, referrals to prospects and more.Mine the book of business for referrals to other lines such as Personal Lines, Life and Group Benefits, Private Client Services and Auto.Advocate in the event of a claim, work with the client to ensure a fair outcome.What You Will Bring To The RoleLevel 2 license is required.University degree in Sales & Marketing or equivalent experience is preferred.Current knowledge in all aspects of commercial insurance is required.Minimum of 2 years experience in commercial insurance is preferred.
