Currently we have an exciting opportunity for an individual who wants to advance their career as a Summer Student - Temporary Full-Time Position Overview Join us as a Finance Summer Student and help to create health and build community in East Toronto As a Summer Student, you will work with usin supporting operations related projects and other initiatives related to the finance and accounting function at the hospital. This position is offered through the support of Government of Canada-Canada Summer Jobs Program. All applicants must meet theminimum requirements of that program. Primary Responsibilities Provide accounting and clerical support to the day-to-day operations of the respective team in Finance including Accounting/Reporting, Planning and Analysis and Accounts Payable. Assist with internal and external reporting or any other reporting that is assigned Assist in the accounting and management of hospital asset disposals Ensure timely validation of invoices and payment Assist in processing user changes in the E-Requisitioning software. Assist in ad hoc requests and project as assigned. EDUCATION High school diploma, required. Enrollment in a relevant post-secondary program, required. Business or Accounting field, preferred.
