About Us We are thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity to join our dedicated Recreation team at Talarico Place in Castlegar, BC As a valued member of our multidisciplinary team, you''ll have the chance to plan, develop, implement, and evaluate a variety of recreational/leisure programs designed to enhance the health and well-being of our residents and clients in long-term care, acute, and adult day program settings. This is a permanent full-time position with Monday to Friday day shifts from 07:00 to 17:30, offering flexibility to work extended hours and enjoy a shorter workweek from Tuesday to Friday. Your Role As a Program Coordinator, you will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of diverse recreational and leisure programs that enhance the health, well-being, and quality of life of residents and clients in long-term care, acute, and adult day program settings. You will plan activities such as crafts, music, woodworking, mental aerobics, exercises, and sensory stimulation, tailoring programs to meet physical, social, emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs. In addition, you will supervise, and mentor designated staff, students, and volunteers, coordinating schedules, providing guidance, and supporting professional growth. Collaborating with clients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, you will ensure programs are meaningful, individualized, and aligned with client goals, making a real impact on daily lives.
