Join our growing Buildings team in Interior BC, based out of our Kelowna or Kamloops office. As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer or Designer, you''ll contribute to a variety of building projects across BC, the Yukon, and Western Canada. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated mechanical professional with approximately 5 years of experience to make a real impact. Your Impact Design mechanical building systems (HVAC, plumbing & drainage, fire protection) from concept through construction. Prepare detailed engineering drawings, technical reports, specifications, and cost estimates. Coordinate with architects, other engineering disciplines, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution. Assist in quality control reviews and ensure deliverables meet WSP''s high standards. Stay current with new technologies and sustainable design approaches and participate in internal knowledge-sharing and learning opportunities. Participate in meetings with clients and stakeholders to understand project goals and provide technical input. Support the preparation of proposals, presentations, and design reports as needed. The Skills That Set You Apart Bachelor''s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution. Registered (or eligible to register) as an EIT or P.Eng. with EGBC. 5+ years of relevant experience in the consulting engineering industry. Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for buildings. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP is required.
