Job Summary We are seeking a reliable and experienced Owner Operator Driver to join our transportation team. This role involves operating commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently and safely across various routes. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, experience with heavy equipment, and the ability to perform basic automotive repairs when necessary. As an Owner Operator Driver, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards. Responsibilities Safely operate commercial trucks and freight vehicles across assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed Conduct routine inspections of vehicles and equipment, performing minor repairs or maintenance when required Manage freight documentation, including delivery manifests and shipping paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise during transit Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle and related equipment throughout shifts Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local transportation regulations Requirements Valid commercial driver''s license (CDL) with a clean driving record Experience operating forklifts, heavy equipment, and handling freight logistics Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road Proven experience in commercial driving and freight transportation Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and vehicle maintenance Physical ability to load/unload freight, including lifting heavy items when necessary Reliable transportation to meet scheduling demands This position offers an opportunity for experienced drivers to leverage their skills in a dynamic environment while ensuring safety and efficiency in freight delivery.
