This role''s purpose is to leverage our crew members to be their best and execute our tasting room service model day in, day out. Providing shift direction, role allocations, guidance on where the crew needs to improve as well as celebrating their strengths - this role assesses daily operations and does what is needed to make the most out of the shift. Other duties Ability to Supervise a crew of 5-10 Maintain/support the high standard of quality represented in our Food & Beverage program Assist other leadership staff in handling all HR aspects, including onboarding and accountability etc. Delegating and overseeing the shifts/crew and ensuring sufficient staffing based on the busy/non busy days and helping manage labour Overseeing day to day inventory levels ensuring freshness standards, keeping all areas stocked and organized. Cash management such as counting and proper recoding on cash out sheet Ensuring all guests receive an exceptional guest experience through effective staff training & development Help with customer resolution and ensure that the dining experience is a memorable one for clients Perform regular table visits and genuine guest interactions as needed Overseeing & meeting company cleanliness and product freshness standards in alignment with Fraser Health Standards Job Requirements 2-3 years of previous work experience in restaurant/food service industry with at least one year of supervisory/managing experience in a brewery setting (with tasting room experience) At least one year of front-of the house experience in a restaurant setting dealing personally with the guests At least one year of experience in serving/bartending Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays in a busy fast-paced environment including opening, midday and closing shifts Ability to communicate well in English Certificates and Licenses: Serving-it-Right (Required) Job Types: Part-time, Permanent Pay: $19.25 per hour Benefits: Paid time off Licence/Certification: SIR or equivalent (required) Cicerone certificate (required) Work Location: In person
