Queen City Communications is looking for a dependable contractor to assist with service and installation work across southern Saskatchewan. This position involves working alongside the owner on installations and eventually operating a company work truck for service calls and projects. Experience with Shaw Direct or Bell satellite TV is an asset, but training can be provided for the right person. We install and service: Security camera systems Wireless internet and point to point links Starlink systems Shaw Direct and Bell satellite TV systems Network cabling (Cat5e/Cat6 and coax) Rural monitoring and surveillance systems You will be working at farms, acreages, commercial sites and industrial locations. Responsibilities: Assist with installations and service calls Satellite dish installs and service (training available) Pull and terminate Cat5e/Cat6 and coax Mount cameras and wireless equipment Ladder and roof work Travel to job sites Maintain clean and professional job sites Represent the company professionally with customers Requirements: Punctual and dependable Clean driving record (required) Criminal record check (required) Comfortable working on ladders and roofs Satellite TV experience (Shaw Direct or Bell) preferred or willingness to learn Experience with Cat5/Cat6 or coax preferred Mechanically inclined and willing to learn Ability to work outdoors in Saskatchewan conditions Strong work ethic and good attitude Contract Details: Contract position (not employee) Opportunity to grow into running service calls independently Use of company work truck and tools Steady workload Compensation: Starting at approximately $25/hour equivalent (contract), with increases as skills and responsibilities grow.
