Telegraph Tree Services is a growing residential tree service serving the Cowichan Valley for over 15 years. We''re currently looking for a reliable, long term Bucket Truck Operator / Junior Climber to join our team. This position is ideal for someone with bucket truck experience who wants to continue developing their climbing skills and grow with a solid, drama-free crew. Job Responsibilities: Safely operate and maintain bucket truck equipment Perform aerial pruning and removal work Assist lead climbers with rigging setup and operations Safely operate chainsaws (aloft and on the ground) Support ground crew operations as needed Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Qualifications: Experience operating a bucket truck (tree industry experience preferred) Some climbing experience or strong desire to advance climbing skills Knowledge of basic rigging practices Strong understanding of safe chainsaw handling Valid Class 5 Driver''s License (Air Brake endorsement considered an asset) ISA Certification is an asset but not required Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented What We Offer: $33$45 per hour (based on experience) Steady, year-round work Supportive small crew environment Opportunity to grow into a more advanced role with time (estimating, crew lead) Work in the beautiful Cowichan Valley If you''re looking for long-term opportunity with a growing company, we''d like to hear from you.
