Overview We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment and preventing loss or damage through proactive surveillance and enforcement of safety protocols. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol designated areas to deter unauthorized access and ensure safety. Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies, following established protocols. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for record-keeping purposes. Enforce company policies and procedures related to security and loss prevention. Assist with access control by verifying credentials of employees, visitors, or vendors. Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when necessary. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify safety hazards or security breaches. Qualifications Strong understanding of loss prevention strategies. Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail. Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Good communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately. Must be able to pass background checks and any required training certifications.
