We are currently hiring a Shipping Clerk in our Mississauga, Ontario facility Pay Rate: $18 - $18.50/hour Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Friday 4pm 8pm; Saturday and Sunday 6am 2:30pm What''s in it for you? Health/Dental/Vision Insurance Tuition Reimbursement RRSP Matching PTO and Paid Holidays And more What you''ll do: Receives Rx jobs from QA and/or stock orders from warehouse pickers, for invoicing and shipping. Use of DVI as well as couriers'' label printers Matches carefully the eyewear pair of glasses with the correct invoice, shipping label and supplies (if any) Packages jobs in appropriate shipping boxes Drops the packages in appropriate ICS, UPS, Purolator, Loomis designated bags/locations Prints out shipping manifests as per each courier''s pick-up time Receives incoming orders from Order Entry and/or Lab (breakages) into warehouse Picks incoming Rx/stock jobs/orders from the designated bin locations, as per work-ticket instructions Qualifications: High school graduate is the minimum education requirement Optical background considered a strong asset Must be able to work in a fast paced, high volume environment Must have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) Standing, walking, reaching and bending constantly throughout the day We do not require ''Canadian experience'' for this role.
