We''re looking for someone just like you to lead and help grow our Landscape Maintenance Division About the Role: We are a well-established landscaping company with a passion for high-quality garden care. We''re seeking a skilled, motivated, and knowledgeable horticulturist to lead and enhance our residential maintenance team. This is a hands-on role that involves working independently or with a small crew, supporting and inspiring others while keeping standards high. What We''re Looking For: Strong horticulture knowledge and a genuine love of plants and gardens Experience in residential landscape maintenance supervisory role - minimum 3 years Ability to lead by example and share knowledge Positive, friendly, and professional attitude Excellent communication for effective interaction with clients and team members Productive time management skills Capable of working efficiently alone or as part of a small team Comfortable working in all weather conditions Skilled in the use and care of landscaping tools and equipment Valid BC driver''s licence required Deep understanding of local growing conditions Knowledge of horticulture practices and landscape design principles. Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate landscape maintenance activities across various projects. Lead a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work. Develop and implement maintenance schedules to optimize efficiency and effectiveness. Complete and submit detailed timesheets daily Suggest creative ideas and propose work to homeowners Prepare estimates for extra tasks requested by clients Monitor the health of plants and landscapes, making recommendations for improvements. Be an integral part of our major softscape installations on exciting construction projects Oversee irrigation systems to ensure proper watering and care of landscapes. Collaborate with project managers to align maintenance efforts with ongoing construction activities. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report on progress regularly.
