If youre ready to supercharge the future of global finance, youre in the right place. The Opportunity Were looking for a Junior Full Stack Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This is an earlycareer role but junior at Cybrid doesnt mean low expectations. Youll ship production code, solve real problems, and work on systems that move money globally. Youll be supported by experienced engineers, but we expect curiosity, strong fundamentals, and a bias toward action. If you learn quickly, ask great questions, and care deeply about building things the right way, youll thrive here. What Youll Do Contribute to Rails, Django, and Angular codebases under senior mentorship. Implement welldefined features and bug fixes with proper testing. Participate in code reviews and learn financial software best practices. Support feature development in banking, trading, and customer management. Leverage AIassisted tools to write, test, and document code that meets high quality and reliability standards. What You Bring Required Skills & Experience: 2+ years of software development experience Strong fundamentals in at least one backend language and one frontend framework Understanding of REST APIs, databases (e.g., PostgreSQL), and modern web architecture Familiarity with Git workflows and basic testing practices Comfort learning new tools and technologies quickly A practical, problemsolving mindset you ship, iterate, and improve Curiosity about fintech, payments, or financial infrastructure Comfort using AI tools to support coding, debugging, and documentation Nice to Have: Experience with Rails, Django, Angular, or similar frameworks Exposure to fintech, banking, crypto, or regulated environments Experience working in a startup or fastmoving team What Junior Means at Cybrid You may not have seen everything yet but you learn fast. About The Role This role is newly created and does not backfill an existing position. The base compensation range for this role is CAD $85,000 $115,000. Compensation will be based on your experience, skills, and the unique strengths you bring to the team. We take a thoughtful approach to leveling and internal equity when determining offers.
