To achieve this mission, were looking for a FrontEnd Web Developer to join the Boreal team. This person will be developing the applications, websites and courses for our first programs, laying our foundation for our students success and our company growth. Were leading the Canadian postsecondary sector to create and market online programs that put the learner at the centre and transform communities along the way. This role helps us accomplish that collective mission. THE OPPORTUNITY As a FrontEnd Web Developer, you will be responsible for creating engaging and userfriendly websites, courses and applications that showcase the quality of the programs we support. You will leverage your experience building welldesigned responsive websites and collaborate with the rest of the Boreal team on course build and other web applications. You will make an impact by: Partnering with Instructional Designers to develop custom coded web elements into online course materials Partnering with Marketing team to build easy-to-use and high performing websites, microsites and landing pages in Drupal and WordPress from mockups. Ensuring all accessibility standards are met, as set out by our University Partners. Communicating project milestones to marketing, course development and partner teams. Conducting regular updates, including troubleshooting and bug fixes across multiple integrations. We are looking for someone who has: Proven work experience as a FrontEnd Web Developer or similar role Strong problemsolving and analytical skills with a curiosity for new technologies. Degree in computer science, industry certifications or equivalent experience Legal authorization to work in Canada.
