Purpose Worley is seeking a Design Technical Lead Nuclear in Markham, Ontario with extensive experience in the nuclear industry to lead and execute complex projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that project deliverables are completed with quality, on time, and within budget, while upholding Worleys standards for safety and technical excellence. Responsibilities Design Team Lead (DTL) familiar with the primary interface similar to Nuclear Utility Sector. Drive adherence of multi-discipline design team to the applicable Engineering Change Control (ECC) process. Maintain consistency and quality across engineering design packages from all disciplines. Serve as the primary contact for implementing interface requirements within the design. Coordinate and lead meetings (e.g., COMS, DCAVR) with stakeholders such as Procurement Engineering, as needed. Review Asset Suite Design panels to ensure engineering updates align with client governance. Deliver all technical engineering tasks on time and within budget. Oversee vendor deliverables to ensure quality and compliance with technical specifications. Collaborate with cross-functional, multi-disciplinary project teams. Report to the Project Engineering Manager to ensure project delivery meets schedule, budget, QA programs, codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. What You Will Bring Technical and Industry Experience Experience with Turbine/Generator and Bruce power asset Experience working in all phases of a project, including the conceptual design phase, preliminary engineering, detailed design, construction/installation, commissioning, and closeout. Working knowledge of pressure boundary licensing requirements and interface with TSSA/ CNSC. Working knowledge of client Asset Suite/Maximo with active access rights. Detailed understanding of Utility (ECC) process and governance procedures. Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment. Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills, with strong customer focus. Education Qualifications, Accreditation, Training Engineering degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related discipline from an accredited University. Registered Professional Engineer with Professional Engineers Ontario, member in good standing. Utility Design Engineer (DE) Qualification QID#33685. Required Must be available to participate in Worleys Hybrid work schedule, 4 days in the office. Have a valid nuclear security clearance. For applicants based in the province of Ontario, the salary range is $148,000 to $192,000 CAD.
