Job Title

Summary The Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining and repairing facility systems to support daily operations, including general building maintenance, mechanical systems, HVAC support, and use of building automation and maintenance management systems. The role requires a proactive, safety conscious individual able to troubleshoot a range of facility issues and coordinate with vendors and internal teams. Occasional after hours or weekend work may be required. Responsibilities Perform general building maintenance and repairs such as drywall patching, painting, carpentry, and minor renovations Conduct basic electrical work including replacing outlets, switches, and lighting fixtures Perform basic plumbing repairs and maintain restrooms and break areas Support HVAC systems with troubleshooting and filter changes and coordinate with external vendors Monitor and interact with Building Automation Systems to ensure proper performance Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems to log and complete work orders Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns Respond to urgent maintenance requests and facility emergencies promptly Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition Requirements Proven experience in facility maintenance or building operations Working knowledge of drywall repair, basic electrical systems, plumbing, and carpentry Familiarity with HVAC systems and controls and Building Automation Systems Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and work orders Strong troubleshooting, problem solving, and time management skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks Physically able to lift, climb, bend, and perform hands on maintenance tasks Trade certification or technical training in a related field preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
