CPCS | Advisors to infrastructure leaders Status: New Permanent, Full-Time Travel: Occasional travel may be required for meetings with our clients as well as for our team meetings in Canada. This role is well suited to an entrepreneurial leader with strong consulting experience and deep expertise in operations, engineering, finance, commercial/procurement, and/or economics within the transportation and infrastructure sectors. The ideal candidate will bring intersectional expertise in these areas to successfully lead multidisciplinary teams, while having the technical foundations to execute smaller assignments. Your responsibilities Working closely with the Vice President, Canada, you will: Lead market development in British Columbia within your areas of expertise, developing strong, longterm relationships with clients and partners through proactive outreach Drive business development, including tracking opportunities, setting win strategies, assembling teams/partners, steering pricing and commercial terms, ensuring proposal quality, and negotiating through award Direct, manage and provide strategic advice to deliver projects on time and on budget that meet and exceed client expectations Develop technical and report inputs to assignments within areas of specialization, when required Provide clear, compelling, and professional written reports and presentations with strategic insights to senior public and private stakeholders Actively contribute to the companys visibility and market engagement program, notably by being a visible and engaged expert on LinkedIn, participating in conferences and creating/publishing publicfacing content that promotes CPCSs positioning, expertise, and impact Support recruitment of team members to enable growth, and mentor junior and intermediate consultants through project assignments As growth requires, work with corporate teams to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance in your market areas (as required), and help secure office space (as warranted) What you bring to the team Masters degree in economics, finance, business, engineering, public policy, or a related field Minimum 15 years of professional experience in consulting, applied research, financial/commercial advisory and/or relevant industry experience Significant experience in business development, with a track record of securing and delivering consulting work Proven ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams that produce timely and highquality deliverables, as well as carry out smaller consulting assignments independently Strong technical foundations in 12 areas of specialization within the transportation or infrastructure sectors Fluency in English (spoken and written) Legal right to work in Canada Professional designation(s) in relevant fields (P.Eng., CFA, etc.) is an asset Were looking for someone who Enjoys a challenge and is passionate about infrastructure Is entrepreneurial and keen to grow a strong team based in British Columbia Is interested in a transportation or infrastructure subsector within or adjacent to CPCSs areas of focus (transit, passenger rail, freight and goods movement, ports, marine and freight rail) Values innovation, teamwork, diversity, and personal accountability Has strong leadership and organizational skills Writes and speaks clearly and concisely Thrives in collaborative and independent work settings Embraces the role of digital marketing and networking to position CPCS as a trusted advisor and industry leader Welcomes coaching and feedback and is committed to continuous learning Support for you, professionally and personally Professional growth: We support your development through training, mentorship, coaching, and regular feedback.
