The Role The Director, Construction, Facilities & Lease Management is responsible for strategic leadership and operational oversight of all construction projects, facility operations, and real estate lease management across a national portfolio of approximately 375 sites . This role ensures that all locations are designed, built, maintained, and leased in alignment with organizational goals, budgetary discipline, and regulatory compliance. The Director will report into the CFO ad will lead a crossfunctional team of project managers, real estate managers, facilities staff, and external service providers to support new builds, expansions, renovations, capital upgrades, preventive maintenance, and lease lifecycle management. This leader plays a critical role in supporting business growth, mitigating operational risk, and creating safe, functional, and costeffective environments for employees and customers. Key Responsibilities Construction & Capital Projects Oversee all construction projects including new site development, remodels, expansions, and refresh programs. Lead project planning, budgeting, scheduling, design coordination, permitting, and vendor management. Ensure consistent construction standards, specifications, and design guidelines across all sites. Manage general contractors, architects, engineers, and consultants to ensure highquality execution. Implement rigorous project controls, including financial tracking, progress reporting, and risk mitigation. Conduct postproject evaluations to improve efficiency, quality, and cost predictability. Facilities Management Lead fullscale facilities operations across 375 locations, including preventive maintenance, corrective repairs through service channel. Oversee vendor relationships, service contracts, SLAs, and performance metrics. Ensure all sites comply with health and safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards. Optimize operational costs while maintaining highquality facility standards. Lease & Real Estate Management Oversee endtoend lease lifecycle management, including lease negotiations, renewals, expansions, terminations, and compliance. Partner with legal, finance, and operations to ensure favorable lease terms and alignment with business needs. Maintain accurate lease documentation, critical dates, and financial obligations. Build strong relationships with landlords, property managers, and brokers. Provide strategic recommendations regarding site expansion, consolidation, relocations, or footprint optimization. Manage annual occupancy budgets, including rent, CAM charges, utilities, and capital requirements. Background, Experience And Qualifications Bachelors degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Real Estate, or related field. 10+ years of progressive experience in multisite construction, facilities, and lease management. Experience overseeing large real estate portfolios (200+ locations preferred). Demonstrated success managing multimilliondollar capital programs and complex facility operations. Strong negotiation skills and experience with commercial lease agreements. Proven ability to lead teams and manage performance metrics in a fastpaced environment. Exceptional communication, vendor management, and project management skills. Familiarity with CMMS systems, project management tools, and real estate databases. #J-18808-Ljbffr
