We specialize in: Enterprise-grade cybersecurity for small and mid-market organizations Microsoft 365 and Azure-centric environments Sophos-based security architecture Forward-looking automation and intelligent systems The Role We are hiring a Senior Systems & Security Specialist to play a foundational role in our technical team. This is a senior, hands-on position responsible for day-to-day security and systems integrity across multiple client environments. You will be a trusted technical authority for customers and an anchor for the Lighthouse team as we scale. This role is ideal for someone with strong Sophos experience , solid MSP or multi-environment background, and the judgment to operate independently. Key Responsibilities Security & Sophos Platform Ownership Deploy, manage, and support Sophos Endpoint, Intercept X, and MDR Configure and maintain Sophos firewalls (policies, VLANs, VPNs, site-to-site) Respond to and triage security alerts in coordination with SOC workflows Lead remediation and hardening efforts Maintain accurate, structured security documentation Sophos is a core platform for Lighthouse. Hands-on experience is required. Systems & Infrastructure Support Deploy and support Windows 11 endpoints Administer Microsoft 365 and Azure AD (Entra ID) Troubleshoot networking fundamentals (DNS, DHCP, VPNs, VLANs) Support backup systems and validation testing Perform on-site infrastructure work as required Operational & Client Support Serve as a senior escalation point for technical issues Work directly with clients in a calm, professional manner Assist with hardware/software lifecycle management Support ordering, asset tracking, and documentation processes Ensure work is completed cleanly and nothing is dropped Lighthouse is actively expanding into automation and applied AI-driven solutions. This role is not an AI engineering position, but candidates should be: Curious about modern automation and intelligent systems Comfortable working in an evolving technical environment Open to learning new tools and approaches over time Experience with scripting, APIs, Azure services, or automation is considered an asset. Required Experience 4+ years in IT systems or MSP environments Strong, hands-on experience with: Sophos Endpoint and Firewall platforms Microsoft 365 administration Comfortable with on-site client work Certifications are an asset but not required.
