Position Summary Were looking for a collaborative and strategic Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist to support the contract lifecycle management of a diverse portfolio of commodities (primarily indirect spend categories facilities and operations management, repairs, janitorial, security, HR, etc.). In this role, youll partner closely with internal stakeholders and suppliers to lead sourcing initiatives, manage contracts from development through execution, and drive continuous improvement, cost optimization, and operational efficiency. Youll play a key role in strengthening vendor relationships, supporting complex sourcing events (RFx), and contributing to supplier performance and category strategies that deliver longterm value to the organization. This position is based in Toronto and supports national sourcing initiatives across crossfunctional teams. What Youll Do Lead and support endtoend contract lifecycle management, including drafting, negotiation, execution, renewals, and terminations in alignment with organizational policies and business needs. Partner with internal stakeholders (Legal, Privacy, Cybersecurity, IT, Finance, and Operations) to support timely contract execution and sourcing initiatives. Plan and execute complex sourcing projects and RF(x) processes that deliver best value while mitigating risk. Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; lead supplier business reviews and support performance management activities. Track service level agreements and vendor performance, supporting issue resolution and continuous improvement initiatives. Contribute to category and commodity strategies through market research, supplier analysis, and datadriven insights. Identify opportunities for cost savings, cost avoidance, process improvements, and operational efficiencies. Support department projects and crossfunctional initiatives aligned to sourcing and procurement best practices. What Youll Bring 58 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain within complex or projectbased environments. Postsecondary education in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or professional designation (SCMP, PMAC, or equivalent) is an asset. Demonstrated experience managing RF(x) processes, contract negotiations, supplier relationships, and category or commodity portfolios. Strong analytical and financial acumen, including cost analysis, benchmarking, ROI evaluation, and procurement data interpretation. Experience managing large or complex spend portfolios and delivering strategic sourcing solutions that balance value, risk, and business needs. Proficiency with procurement systems (e.g., Oracle Fusion or similar platforms) and strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Continuous improvement mindset; Lean or Six Sigma training or project experience is considered an asset. Strong communication, stakeholder engagement, and presentation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams. Excellent organization and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fastpaced environment.
