Manage the engagement process from initial scheduling and planning through to client review and financial statement signoff. Meet with clients regarding financial statements, other business matters and engagement issues. Support personal and corporate tax filings. Discuss proposed time budgets with partners and assign engagement budgets to staff. Identify new business opportunities with new and existing clients. Manage and mentor a team of Accountants. Ensure reporting deadlines are monitored and reported against on a regular basis. Work directly with highgrowth tech clients, providing strategic insights and scalable financial solutions. Qualifications University degree with a specialization in Accounting. CPA, CA, or equivalent designation (completed or near completion). Minimum 4 years of public accounting experience. Exposure to technology clients. Strong knowledge of accounting and assurance principles. Experience with assurance, accounting and tax software (e.g., CaseWare, Taxprep, QuickBooks).
