Job Title Assistant Professor or Associate Professor in Forests, Nature and Human Health Position Faculty Bargaining. Assistant or Associate Professor for the newly established George Richards Professorship in Forests, Nature and Human Health. Assignment will be in one of the three departments (Forest Resources Management, Forest and Conservation Sciences, Wood Science) of the Faculty of Forestry & Environmental Stewardship, depending on the candidates topical interests. Salary ranges: $110,000$135,000 per year for an Assistant Professor; $135,000$160,000 per year for an Associate Professor. Responsibilities Develop an internationally recognised research program focused on forests, nature and human health. Teach undergraduate and graduate courses. Supervise graduate students. Secure external research funding. Build and sustain nature and health research programmes within the Faculty and with external partners. Qualifications PhD in a healthrelated or interdisciplinary field relevant to human health and the environment (e.g., medicine, public or population health, epidemiology, environmental health, planetary health, neuroscience, environmental psychology). Demonstrated expertise in the links between nature and human health, including experience in healthrelated research involving human participants. Familiarity with human research ethics processes. Track record of scholarly publications. Strong potential for obtaining external research funding, collaborating across disciplines, sectors and geographic contexts, engaging policymakers and translating research into practice. Evidence of highquality postsecondary teaching, including course development and graduate supervision, is desirable.
