Position: Provisional PsychologistPosting: February 6, 2026Closing Date: Until suitable candidate is foundReports to: Supervisor of the School and Family Services ProgramLocation: Red Deer, AlbertaAspire Child Development Centre (Aspire) is seeking a Provisional Psychologist who is passionate about supporting neurodivergent children and values collaboration, flexibility, and growth. This role focuses primarily on consultation and assessment, with opportunities for direct intervention, serving children in schools and homes throughout Central Alberta.You will work with children aged 2-18 years, supporting their communication development while partnering closely with families and school teams. This position offers variety, autonomy, and clinical support. If youre looking for meaningful work, a supportive team, and a schedule that respects your life outside of work, we would love to meet you.Your Role at AspireSupport neurodivergent children through consultation, assessment, and interventionBuild capacity with parents, teachers, and school staffProvide support to children to strengthen cognitive, behavioural, learning, social, and mental health skills within home, school, and community contextsDevelop individual program plans and support implementationProvide practical, strength-based strategies to promote child developmentComplete standardized assessments, screening tools, and written reportsCollaborate with families and educational teams to support identified goalsDeliver direct therapy when appropriateKnowledge, skills and abilitiesExperience working with schools and families to support the development of childrens cognitive, behavioural, learning, social, and mental health skillsKnowledge of best practices and current research, particularly related to autism spectrum disorderExcellent organizational and time management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsFlexible and adaptable in a dynamic workloadWillingness to contribute to the growth of the teamExcellent knowledge and skills with Microsoft Office 365 and database applicationsQualificationsRegistered as a provisional psychologist in Alberta, or actively working toward provisional registrationValid drivers license and access to a vehicleExperience working with neurodivergent children (experience level flexible mentorship available)Job Type: Permanent part-time, with opportunity to grow into full-timeSchedule: Flexible Monday to Friday schedule Christmas break and spring break off and reduced summer hours, with ongoing regular payLocation: In person Red Deer, AlbertaAspire is located in Red Deer, Alberta and is nicely situated between Calgary and Edmonton.
