Job Category: Destinations Requisition Number: LEADG002872 Location: Whistler Station | Whistler, BC Employment Type: Seasonal Part-Time (March to October) Hourly Wage: $25.55/hour Key Competencies: Daily Operations & Guest Experience Execution: Oversee and execute the daily flow of the Whistler Station and Guest Centres. Transit Coordination: Lead train arrivals/departures, including motor coach transfers, luggage handling, and guest mobility assistance. Issue Management: Use our CRM system to resolve guest inquiries promptly, ensuring service aligns with our luxury standards. Communication: Coordinate with internal teams and external partners via MS Teams, email, and phone to ensure seamless service. Leadership & Team Engagement Coaching: Train new and returning team members, providing ongoing mentorship throughout the season. Auditing: Regularly audit operations and partner performance to maintain a top-notch guest experience. Management Support: Step in as the On-Duty Manager when required to lead operations in the absence of a Manager. Culture: Build strong relationships and provide effective recognition to keep the team motivated and engaged. Safety & Security Promote a culture of safety by adhering to all RM safety and security standards. Assist in emergency response procedures and support the investigation of workplace incidents. Qualifications Experience: 12 years of supervisory experience preferred; background in tourism or hospitality is an asset. Skills: Confident public speaking (including microphone use), high attention to detail, and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Excel). Systems: Familiarity with CRM systems (specifically Salesforce) is a plus. Licensing: Valid BC or AB Drivers License with a clean driving record. Language: Fluency in a second language is considered an asset. Work Environment Physical Demands: Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds. Conditions: Work is performed outdoors in various weather conditions and within a safety-sensitive railway environment.
