This role will be a remote role located in the Greater Toronto Area. Responsibilities Develop and maintain strong customer relationships with key clients Identify and pursue opportunities to increase sales within existing accounts and acquire new accounts Maximize the impact of its actions on turnover, prices, competition and prospecting Gather information to develop a market strategy Work closely crossfunctionally to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives and ensure the client is served flawlessly Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring timely delivery of products Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed sales targets/KPIs including working with customers to develop, execute, and monitor annual promotional plan strategies Negotiate contracts and pricing (including delivery of required pricing increases/decreases) with clients to maximize profitability while maintaining strong client relationships Requirements Postsecondary degree or diploma in business administration, marketing, or a related field 5+ years of national account management experience in the Consumer Goods industry, preferably at a fastmoving consumer goods company Strong knowledge of the Canadian retailer landscape, with experience calling on major grocery chains including Loblaw, Costco, Walmart, Sobeys or Metro Highly skilled in factbased selling, forecasting, and trade spend management Ability to lead and manage Joint Business Planning with Retailers Experience working with Nielsen, POS data, and market insights data Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel and Outlook) Has a valid driver's license and a passport and is available for travel Skills Strong negotiation and relationship building skills Entrepreneurial mindset and creative problem solver Strong communication and presentation skills Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously Strong business acumen with a Growth Focused mindset Excellent critical thinking and analytical skills Selfstarter who can work autonomously and as part of a team Base Salary Range: $110K - $150K This role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a fastpaced, growing CPG environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
