Position Overview We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Manage and monitor accounts receivable balances Assist and issue invoices, debit and credit notes accurately and on time Manage end-to-end processing for Credit Card, Cheque, EDI, and PDC payments Record customer payment transactions and maintain payment history Reconcile customer accounts and review cash flow with Director of Finance Proactively contact customers for past-due invoices Resolve email inquiries from customers Perform credit checks on A/R customers Maintain customer master files and A/R charts Support month-end closing activities related to accounts receivable Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth financial processes Core Competencies Customer focus and excellent communication skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Accountability, dependability, and high personal integrity Teamwork and ability to relate to all levels of employee status Effective time management and organizational skills Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment Qualifications University degree or college diploma in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping 23 years of experience as a bookkeeper or in accounts receivable Proficiency in Excel and accounting/ERP systems Experience with SAP is preferred.
