Owner Operator Tandem Axle Day Cab (Flat Deck Work) Edmonton, AB Dedicated Contract | 810 Hours Daily | 23 Year Term Steeles is preparing to launch a new longterm partnership with a major customer in the Edmonton region. We are seeking 2 experienced Owner Operator drivers with tandemaxle day cabs and flat deck experience to support this dedicated fleet. This is a stable, multiyear opportunity with consistent hours, predictable scheduling, and steady revenue for qualified Independent Contractors. About the Work Dedicated contract work (not part of our regular LTL freight) Lighter commodities and simple flat deck loads No heavy, specialty, or complex flat deck freight Work is based onsite at the customers Edmonton facility Drivers will pull customerowned trailers Local deliveries only within the Greater Edmonton Area 810 hours per day, MondayFriday (details to be confirmed) Expected contract duration: 23 years This is an excellent fit for Owner Operators who want reliable daily hours without the demands of longhaul or complicated flat deck operations. Compensation The proposed compensation structure for Owner Operators is: $46.50 per hour (minimum 8 hours per day) $0.30 per kilometer 75% of FCA Fuel Surcharge Current FCA TL fuel surcharge: 58.1% 75% contractor share = 43.5% This model provides strong, stable earnings aligned with the multiyear contract term. Equipment Requirements To qualify, Owner Operators must provide: Tandemaxle day cab 2017 or newer Clean, wellmaintained equipment Onboard tracking/telematics Ability to operate within customer systems and meet onsite requirements Use of the customerprovided app for routing and dispatch Flat deck experience is mandatory, though freight is not heavy or complex.
